Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using leveluproofingandchimney.com (the “Site”), or by engaging Level Up Roofing and Chimney for any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services

Level Up Roofing and Chimney provides residential and commercial roofing, chimney repair and cleaning, gutter installation and repair, siding, and masonry services across Long Island, New York. All service engagements are subject to a separate written estimate and contract provided before work commences.

3. Estimates and Pricing

• All estimates are non-binding until confirmed in a signed written agreement.
• Prices may change if scope changes or unforeseen conditions are discovered – always with your prior approval.
• Final pricing is agreed upon before any work begins. No charges added without your written or verbal approval.
• Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

4. Payment Terms

• Payment schedules are outlined in each individual service contract.
• We accept cash, check, and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover).
• A deposit may be required to secure scheduling for large projects.
• Final payment is due upon satisfactory completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Unpaid balances after 30 days may be subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge.

5. Warranties

• Roofing installation: workmanship warranty per project contract. GAF Certified and Owens Corning Preferred certifications allow extended manufacturer-backed warranties.
• Chimney repair and cleaning: 1-year workmanship warranty from completion date.
• Gutter installation: seamless gutter installations carry a 5-year workmanship warranty.
• Siding installation: workmanship warranty per project contract; James Hardie and other manufacturer product warranties apply separately.
• Masonry: brickwork, stonework, and foundation repairs carry a 1-year workmanship warranty.
• Warranties do not cover damage caused by acts of God, storms, settling, improper maintenance, or third-party alterations.

6. Permits

Permits are required for roof replacement and certain structural repairs in most Nassau and Suffolk County municipalities. We advise on requirements and assist with permit applications. Permit costs are the property owner’s responsibility unless specifically included in your estimate.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice at no charge.
• Cancellations under 48 hours may result in a trip fee if our crew has already mobilized.
• If materials have been ordered, cancellation may result in a restocking fee equal to the actual cost of materials already procured.
• We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, material delays, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Property and Site Conditions

• You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your property for our crew and equipment.
• We are not responsible for pre-existing property conditions unless we cause direct damage.
• We will take reasonable precautions to protect your property and clean up work areas upon completion.
• We carry general liability insurance and workers’ compensation as required by New York State law. Certificate of insurance available upon request.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to mediation in Suffolk County, New York. Governed by New York State law.

11. Website Use

• Site content is owned by Level Up Roofing and Chimney and may not be reproduced without written permission.
• You may not use this Site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm our business or reputation.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Site at any time without notice.
